Process of Learning, and Experience of Creation
It wasn't very hard to adapt to the system, however I do recognize that I still need more practice at it. I've worked on similar video editing softwares before so I have some knowledge.
When learning how to use Premiere Pro, I was initially confused about how to organize the audio. As well as where I could import the clips I needed.
I eventually found out where I could plug in the clips from, as pictured below:
When it came to completing the entire clip, I wanted it to appear similar to a documentary. With the two clips at the beginning of the hulu dancing girl; it transitioned from day to night.
Creating the clip wasn't too difficult, but there was instance where I accidentally split the actual audio from a clip and the background music incorrectly. I took my time to eventually fix it.
The final fixed audio, as pictured below:
Alongside, all audio clips get cut off very loudly because I don't know how to transition the clips smoothly yet.
On the good side, I was very successful at the Lower Thirds aspect. Adding the text and putting the "Manager, Pineapple Whip" text underneath Zachary's name was simple.
The Lower Thirds, as pictured below:
Throughout the process of completing the clip, I've learned how to add text, split/trim clips, and add audio on Premiere Pro.
For the Future...
Some important takeaways, which I will do next with what I've learned, are how to fix audio and clips. As well as adding text, and maybe even coloring it.
Although I am planning on doing the magazine for my portfolio project, these may help me with how to edit clips and fix any mistakes I've personally done.
